Our vision is to work creatively with individuals and organisations to develop neuropsychology informed services that promote psychological well-being, resilience and skills that promote psychological well-being, resilience and skills

MAKING 
REHABILITATION 
ACCESSIBLE TO ALL 

Our aim is to help people with cognitive and psychological disabilities due to brain injury to be confident and competent in their ability to participate in their local communities.

Services Provided
  • Supporting organisations, to develop neuropsychology informed programmes/services

  • Provide specialist neuropsychology assessments and interventions. E.g. parenting capacity after brain injury. Return to work assessments

Staff Training
  • Strategies and training to enhance the skills of health and care sector workers. E.g acquired brain injury awareness training, positive behaviour support training

Workforce Development Service
  • Support and mentoring for aspiring psychologists*

*With a particular focus on supporting aspiring psychologists from minoritised ethnic communities and disabled people

Project Design and Delivery
  • Long Covid and hidden disabilities in African-Caribbean communities

WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
  • This project will work with local community groups to provide specialist neuropsychological Information and interventions

  • To raise awareness of and support people affected by the neurological and psychological symptoms of long-covid

Phase 1

Engagement phase with African and Caribbean health and well-being organisations

Phase 2

Delivery of online and in-person workshops to provide training, education and advice in managing the hidden disabilities of long-covid.
